AAC CREATED ORTHOPHOTOGRAPHY MAPS OF THE TERRITORY OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA

AAC, on order of the National Land Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, completed creation of orthophotography maps with a resolution of 25 cm / pix in a third of the territory of Lithuania (22,826 sq. km.).

In the short term, these orthophotomaps will be posted on the geoportal of the National Land Service (http://www.geoportal.lt).

Aerial photography and the production of orthophotography maps for the entire territory of the Republic of Lithuania is planned to be completed by December 2020.

In 2012 - 2013, AAC, on order of the National Land Service of Lithuania, carried out aerial photography and created orthophotography maps of the territory of the Republic of Lithuania (65.3 thousand km2) with a resolution of 30 cm / pixel. These orthophotomaps are placed and available for viewing on the geoportal of the National Land Service (http://www.geoportal.lt).
