4. Advantages of this analyzer type

Design

  • DELTA is equipped with the airtight dust- and moisture-resistant shockproof case of industrial class.  
  • It is notable for ergonomic design and well-balanced construction of protruding part, so operator practically remains non-tired when working.
  • DELTA is not equipped with movable parts (in-built control computer).
  • Conveniently located sensor antiglare display.
  • DELTA is notable for absolutely new construction of measuring unit and special constructive solution for heat removal from pipe that results in the longer service life of X-ray tube.

Measuring unit

  • DELTA is equipped with the high accuracy silicon-drift detector (SDD) of large area.
  • Both pipe and detector are located much closer to window that results in increasing number of received pulses in some operating modes.  
  • DELTA is equipped with the new 8-position mechanism of replaceable filters.
Analytical performance capabilities
  • Analysis rate of the said analyzer of metals and alloys amounts to 1-2 seconds at least.
  • Low detection limits are in the amount  of parts per million
  • Extra accuracy is achieved when analyzing Mg, Al, Si, S, and P at the expense of using the SDD-detector of large area and operating in the mode of double path.
  • Maximal pipe power amounts to 4 W. Two set of optimal parameters of pipe excitation for every group of elements are used in series in the analysis mode.
  • Excellent factors for analysis of hot tubes and connections (+425° С at most).
